“Camera Action” is holding this year's event, A GALA dos Galardoados, to finance the institution's long-term objectives and highlight the work carried out by a dedicated team.
This year, we will allocate funds from the Annual Dinner to strengthen the Scholarship Program. We want to open doors to all talented young people, beyond their economic possibilities.
This event is the most important occasion to call on the philanthropic community to join us in the challenge of continuing to consolidate ourselves as an entity of excellence, plural, equitable and open to all.
“CAMERA ACTION” is used as a didactic means in the teaching/educational process, for the preparation and updating of knowledge about environmental problems through a critical analysis that includes both the antecedents, causes and effects of climate change, as well as the measures adopted in the country, in order to mitigate damage caused to the environment.
It all allows its use by the teachers involved to manage the learning of students in different types of education in different higher education careers and at any other level of education. In this way, intra, inter and transdisciplinary relationships are strengthened, at the same time that political-ideological work is promoted in search of the defence of the environment.
In this lesson plan, students will delve into creating community short films, to understand the importance of visual, audiovisual and performative media. Through this project, students will learn to capture a narrative creation, whether traditional or contemporary and disseminate it effectively, using these tools to approach and disseminate topics such as “Stop Climate Change”.
•Understand the importance of visual media in narrative.
•Develop creative writing skills for the screen.
•Learn to work as a team in an audiovisual project.
•Apply knowledge of audiovisual production in the creation of a community short film.
•Reflect on the process of creation and dissemination of a short film.
